Step 1.Open
the card out, Place the stencil on the front of the card and position it
where you want it. Attach the stencil to the card with magic tape so it
doesn’t move.
|
 |
| |
Step 2.
With the stencil attached place the card stencil side down on the light box.
Emboss the whole image except the inside line of the frame made by the
stencil. |
 |
| |
Step 3. With the stencil still
attached transfer the card to the cutting mat stencil side up. (You may wish
to use magic tape to secure the card to the mat.) using the craft knife
carefully cut round the inside line of the stencil. Turn the mat if this
makes cutting easier. The middle comes out and you have a frame card. |
 |
| |
Step 4. While the stencil is
still attached pick up some pink pastel on your stencil brush. Use very
little at first and build up the colour- you can add but you can’t take away
very easily. Work the pastel colour into the petal shapes in a circular
motion. This will colour the embossed petals. |
 |
| |
Step 5.
Using a clean
stencil brush pick up some green and work into the leaf shapes. Some overlap
of colour may occur but this can look effective. Any excess colour can be
rubbed out with a gum rubber if there is not too much colour applied in the
first place. |
 |
| |
Step 6.
Cut Tag Detach
the stencil from the card. Put the greeting sticker in the middle of the tag
and use the stencil with the pastels as above to put two flowers either side
of the greeting on the tag.
|
 |
| |
Step 7.
Stick a strip of
pink pearlescent paper to the C6 piece of card big enough to go behind the
frame you have made as a background. On top of this stick a piece of tul net
the same size as the pink pearlescent paper. Use the double sided tape to
stick the C6 card into the card so you can see the pink background in the
frame and only plain white card inside the card. |
 |
| |
Step 8.
Slot the tag
into the two petals that stick out into the frame and if necessary attach
with double sided tape on the underside of the petals. |
. |
| |
Step 9.
Finish of by
adding two butterfly stickers in the top |
