Step 1.Thread
a needle with a 1m length of beading thread. Thread a Stopper bead and
take the needle back through the bead to anchor it towards the tail of the
thread leaving approximately 15cm.
Step 2.Thread 10 beads starting with the
purple bead and alternating between lilac and purple.
Step 3. Thread 1 lilac bead and take the needle
through the last purple bead.
Step 4. Thread lilac bead and take the needle
through the next purple bead until you have 5 lilac beads laying next to the
5 lilac beads of the 1st row
Step 5.
To start the next row thread a
purple bead and take the needle back down the last lilac bead. Carry
on threading purple beads and taking the needle through the lilac beads
until the end of the row.
Step 6.
Repeat the last 2 rows until you
have 5 lilac beads at one end and 5 purple beads at the other end..
Step 7. Curl the piece of beading
you have just completed and take the needle through the protruding beads of
the 1st and last row to form a tubular bead.

Step 8. Tie of the tail and the
working thread, then feed the threads through some of the beads to
tidy the ends.
Step 9. Thread a lilac
bead, a large purple bead, the beaded bead, a large purple bead and a lilac
bead on to an eyepin. Cut the eyepin to size and turn the end to form
a loop using pliers.
Step 10. Repeat the above steps for each
bead to make 6 links to complete the bracelet
Vary the size and colours of beaded beads by
using different combinations of beads and counts.
